Excellent place for breakfast and very reasonably priced! Cinnamon toast French toast is very good and portion sizes make for a very good value. Don't miss this place if you're in PCB!

My husband and I went to fatty pattys for breakfast. We made it there around 11. For future guests they stop serving breakfast at 11. So we were unable to get pancakes for our 5 year old. We decided to leave and go to another establishment close by. As a breakfast place I was disappointed that they stop serving breakfast. They close at 2 and change their menu half way through their 8 hour operation time. A little ridiculous. So just a warning to future tourists visiting the pcb area.

We were on vacation this week & came here due to the great reviews on Yelp. Chicken & waffles, cinnamon roll French toast, and an omelette were ordered, all of which were just ok. I've had way more flavorful chicken & waffles. My son liked the cinnamon roll French toast, but he didn't finish it--a real statement about the flavor when my teenager doesn't finish something. And it wasn't too large a portion for him. For the price, this place is great. Wayyy better than our hotel's meatless breakfast!

We found Fatty Patty's on yelp and decided to check it out. We were not disappointed. The food and the service were awesome. I came pretty hungry and we ended up ordering a ton of food between the two of us: eggs benedict, breakfast casserole, wild fries, and a short stack of pancakes. We were debating on biscuits and gravy at one point but our server reminded us that our meals came with biscuits and recommended a side of gravy. What an excellent suggestion! Everything was delicious. We ate more than we expected and still took enough home for breakfast tomorrow. Definitely for the little Fatty Patty in all of us.

I am upset that my lowest option is one star because it does not deserve that. We walk into the restaurant at 11:01 and was told there would be a wait which was only 3-4 minutes so we got seated quickly. After about 10-12 minutes we realize we still have not had drink orders taken nor have we been acknowledged by our waitress. She finally comes over and we place drinks & food all at once. I would say that our food did not actually make it to our table until 12:15. This is absurd and unreasonable even on Labor Day. The wait time on the food is not what bothers me so much as the lack of communication & respect from the waitress, Selena (however it's spelt). From the time she took our order until she was waived over by my husband she never came to check on us not did she communicate that she was sorry it was taking so long. My husband waived her over around 11:45 and she had literally not even walked by and checked our drinks. When she comes over I asked if there was a problem with our order because someone after us had already been served. She replied, "Well, they got something easier to make that you did plus IT IS a holiday so we are going to be busy." In my mind I'm thinking...Wait, what? We ordered Pancake Breakfast, French Toast Breakfast & a Club Sandwich. But instead I reply, "I'll be honest, it's not the wait time on the food it's the fact that you have not communicated anything to us since we have been here nor have you checked on us." She proceeds to argue, "I just came by to check on you and let you know that the food was going to be a few minutes." She must have been referring to the time my husband had to waive her over and I asked about the food. I was shaking by this point because she was literally aggressive with me as she argued. I asked for her to walk away if she was going to argue and get me whomever was in charge. She rolls her eyes and storms off. Here comes the "in charge" person a few minutes later, Reagan. I become very emotional at this point as I tell her how rude Selena was because I have never been treated like I am a problem at restaurant because I ask about my food. She apologizes that they are so busy on a holiday. I told Reagan that I honestly felt like our ticket didn't get put in but she ensures me that it was put in at 11:15. First of all, how did she know the exact time stamp on the order? Secondly, if I arrive at 11:01-11:02 and wait about 4-5 minutes for a table then wait about 10-12 minutes for our order to be taken...we have already passed the 11:15 mark. Not until I left did I think about that so I honestly feel like the "in charge" person lied. To continue, tears are clouding my eyes as I exclaim that my kids have been sitting there way too long hungry. She offers a cupcake?!? She says,"Your kids are being good though." WHAT? I felt as though Reagan thought I was crying wolf about my kids. She did apologize though and that was more than I got from Selena so I politely turned down the cupcake and just asked for our order because my children were hungry. A few minutes later 3 different waitresses start bringing out plates. FINALLY! Everything was basically lukewarm. My husbands bacon was as hard as cracklings and then...there was ketchup in about a 3" line down my kid's pancake plate. I call one of the other waitresses over and asked why that would be ketchup on a pancake plate. She replies,"It's not ketchup," takes the plate and walks off. The plate was obviously dirty but when she returned within 1 minute it was a pancake and the same tired bacon in a clean plate. We know that it wasn't recooked because I would probably still be sitting there. So you transfer someone's food from a dirty plate to a clean one and expect that to be sanitary? I just counted my losses and proceeded to eat. Brandon, the waiter I'm now assigned to, walks over to check on us. He probably checked on us in 3 minutes more than Selena ever did in her hour with us. My complaining is minimal because I work at a big box retail store as an assistant manager and I'm on the receiving end most of the time when it comes to complaints. I know public and I know how rough it can be. I feel like Patty's is ran by a lot of children running around like ants because that's what it looked like. I asked Brandon whom was actually in charge. He tells me that Reagan is the next one in line to be in charge and the owner was cooking. So I never actually got to speak to a manager. Hmmm... They thought they did us a favor by knocking off the kids drinks and $4. The funny thing is that my kids had water which is no cost. I told Brandon I shouldn't pay full price for a half ass job. Nothing changed, I paid my money and left. I did not make a scene yet I had every waitress looking at my table in disgust. I felt like scum on the bottom of their shoe. This is the worst PCB has to offer. Look at the lowest reviews for FP on Yelp...all the same! Hope you enjoy your trip because it is truly a gamble.

Very casual and not as busy during lunch as people say. Very friendly staff! The grilled cheese sandwich is really good. The bread is crispy and crunchy and the cheese is gushy and yummy. The kid burger is a sideways thumb. It's too dry. If you like soggy fries, which I do, you'll like these fries. The croissant sandwich with eggs over easy is messy but good. The crab cake basket was really good. Crab cakes were flavorful with lots of crabs. There should be 4 cakes in the order! May order some to go! The cinnamon roll French toast didn't taste like cinnamon rolls but they were huge slices, which was great! It was buttery and slightly crispy, soft in the middle and pretty greasy. I cut the 2nd slice in half, stuffed it with scrambled eggs and bacon, and drizzled maple syrup on top. Now that's a breakfast sandwich! The bacon was waaaay too greasy and fatty. I couldn't eat all of my bacon. I would come here again for the crab cakes.

OMG this is the place to go to for breakfast and for lunch!!!! I have been living in SRB for six years now and have been to many places and been disappointed. Let me tell you this I will be a regular here it's worth the 45 min drive!!!! The service the food and the atmosphere are excellent!! The owner even came out and asked how everything was. We are so happy to find this place !!!!!

Came to this place for breakfast before heading back to Tennessee with a group of 6 people. We were greeted with a warm welcome and had our drinks ordered pretty quickly. We waited a long time for our food but I'm pretty certain it was because we came in a larger group. However, I didn't want to give this restaurant lower than a 5 star rating because the food was delicious, our server, Serena, was amazing and sweet and took great care of us, and the environment was clean. The wait was definitely worth it and I will be coming back here when I visit again.

Amazing!!! The best breakfast I have had in PCB. Waitresses were incredibly friendly, service was great, and the food... almost as good as mom cooked. I will be a regular from here on out.

The whole experience was a flop and wish I could erase it from my PCB vacation trip altogether, and go somewhere else to get some great food and experience. We were not greater when we walked in could not tell of we seat ourselves or not so we just sat where we liked. We were handed lunch menus but had already looked at reviews and had a taste for things on the breakfast menu. We were told that breakfast ends at 11am. At that time it was 7 mins til 11am. We asked for breakfast menus and they told us that all options maybe available for the kitchen to cook. No one came to take our order until 11. My friend ordered the red velvet pancakes and a side of home fries. I just ordered the pancake breakfast with home fries. I hardly ever order a pancake breakfast but I felt so rushed to order. I did end up regretting my order. The home fries were not to my liking and I couldn't but the pancake with just a for alone. It was brick hard on the bottom. My friend was only brought 1 pancake and when she brought it to their attention they said it would be another 40 mins. The 1 pancake she received was half the size of mine. She ended up returning it and ate half the home fries as she watched me try to cut these pancakes while swating gnats aways from our table. WE WONT BE BACK!

We had breakfast here when we first got to Panama City beach. The store is very cute and I liked how they had kid colored pictures of cupcakes on the wall. Our server was very nice. There was another girl there, I asked her for a glass of water, she forgot about me. I got an omelet with feta, sausage, onion, and tomatoes. The sausage was greasy but not greasy enough that I didn't eat it all. The coffee was burnt. My husband had eggs Benedict with crab cakes. He said the eggs were not poached correctly. He did say the crab cakes tasted homemade and that they were delicious.

Such a cozy little spot! The atmosphere is friendly with great hospitality. They offer daily specials for 6.00$$ ,including a drink, and you can't beat that! Most of the food is made from scratch, and fresh. Portions are large, so be prepared to get your grub ON! Best home fries I've ever had in my life!!! Better than my grandmas!! (Sorry Grammy). And the biscuits are sooo delicious! We ordered breakfast but they offer sandwiches, crab cakes, pastries. They close at 2:00, so if you want real food, that makes you wanna slap your MOMMA,..get in there before it closes. Our waitress was Margie & she was so sweet!

This place is delicious. All food is homemade and you get a plateful for cheap. Everything is really good- sometimes greasy but good. You can't say no to Fatty Patty's breakfast and lunch. Also, their cakes are so moist and flavorful. I had the red velvet and coconut cream cake with the lunch special. So good!!

Stumbled upon this place on yelp and decided to give it a try based on the previous receives! Boy are we glad we did! When we arrived we walked in and sat ourselves. We were instantly greeted by our server Morgan who handed us menus. She immediately got our drink orders returned promptly and took our order. The menu had a wide variety and many things to chose from. The prices are very reasonable especially for the quality and portion size. My husband ordered the breakfast burrito which was huge! This dish was very tasty! It was filled with sausage (you get a choice of either sausage or ham) potatoes, egg, onion and topped with cheese and a side of salsa. My father in law built his own omelet which was also huge! For $8 he was able to choice three ingredients plus one cheese and one meat. The omelet was served with grits and toast. Exceptional dish! Exceptional price as well as quality! I had the cafe breakfast which is a traditional breakfast. Eggs, bacon, ( I had a choice of meat) potatoes and toast. Again huge portion and very tasty! Last but not least we ordered the French toast. Absolutely delicious! Probably one of the best I've ever had. On top of delicious food, great value, we received amazing service. Morgan was there every time we needed something all while wearing a smile. We highly recommend this place and wish we had discovered it sooner. Next time we're in town this is the only place we will be eating breakfast!

There daily lunch special is always delicious!! It also includes tea and desert (cupcake, cake, pie etc) all for I think for $9. Check their website or Facebook to see their weekly specials. I also purchased a first birthday cake for my daughter and beside being absolutely beautiful and everything I envision and more, it also tasted delightful! Our party guest were asking for seconds and thirds. I forgot to mention the 1st birthday cake also came with a free smash the cake! And they do offer military discount.

Food is great... Service is absolutely terrible. There were people having to go and get napkins from the bathroom. We didn't get silverware or napkins. Once again this is a great food and poor service... I can't tell if it was because of Spring Break... I'm a local and nurse. I expect good service on my day off... super disappointed. So I will be calling in to go and picking it up! I can't deal with poor service.

Fatty Patty's was great! The Yelp reviews encouraged us to try it and everyone was right! We went for breakfast three days in a row. As a group we tried the biscuits and gravy, red velvet pancakes, cinnamon roll french toast, breakfast burrito, and the have it your way omelet. The biscuits are clearly made from scratch, they are giant and delicious. The breakfast buritto was also a herculean meal. The service was exceptionally nice. When in town again, we'll return.

I wandered into Fatty Patty's and was pleasantly surprised. I like visiting local joints on business travel and this one didn't disappoint. The fruit cup was very fresh and the fruit was cut small, which you never see. The steel cut oats were very good with lots of options. Very nice wait staff. Two thumbs up.

Where do I start.. To begin with, their Google listing shows that are closed on Sunday's, which we realized is not true after calling them directly. Secondly, it's seat yourself however you don't know that until one of the members of the wait staff yell across the restaurant to do so. Third, and most importantly... myself and the rest of my party of 3 arrived at 11am on a Sunday morning. The restaurant was fairly busy, but not overwhelming. We waited for OVER AN HOUR AND A HALF for our food. When our meals finally arrived they were ok, at best. The eggs and potatoes were both undercooked. My potatoes, which I requested well-done, were soft and bendy. The over easy eggs' whites still quite runny. Nothing about this place is anything to write home about and surely not worth the wait. Additionally, while our server was dropping off our silverware (after we received our meals) another table approached her and told her they were leaving because of the wait. I will not return, and I recommend going basically anywhere else... Unless of course you like sitting in a poorly decorated dining room for hours while constantly hearing servers scream to people walking in to seat themselves.

When I walked in Patty was very friendly. She suggested popular items I might like and told me about the history of her place. The portions were extremely big! Not kidding... For a very decent price. Wild fries were the bomb. Flavor on croissant was perfect. Better than most breakfast places in Atlanta, where I'm from.

The reuben had almost no sauerkraut and the meat was a little dry, but the red velvet cake was awesome.

The portions are big! The Wild Fries were great and so was the breakfast burrito! The staff is really friendly! I will be back!

The WORST service ever. Our waitress ignored us and when she finally got around to taking the order, we asked if the spaghetti was marinara or a meat sauce. She said marinara and when the food FINALLY arrived, it was cold and the spaghetti had meat sauce. A problem for a vegetarian. She never checked with us and our tip reflected her piss poor skills and attitude. Won't go there again! Truly dreadful!

We had breakfast yesterday. The red velvet pancakes w/the cream cheese butter/no syrup needed & my husband had the sausage breakfast casserole. & Took home 2 coconut cupcakes w/orange vanilla buttercream. 2nd day back decided on lunch. We are splitting a philly cheese steak & a Cuban. Taking home 2 more of the coconut & 1 raspberry/vanilla cupcakes. Very tasty food/great prices too. Service yesterday was way better than today tho. We will come back.

Eat here all the time. Food is great and service is wonderful. Everything is fresh and homemade. I love it! Also, their cakes are amazingly beautiful and delicious! I always go to Fatty Patty's for any of my cake needs. Baby showers, anniversaries, birthdays, or just cause I want some good cake. This is a gem in Panama City Beach.

This place was very good. I had the crab cakes Benedict, and they were very good. The poached eggs were cooked very well and the hollandaise sauce was also nice and tasty. Definitely not disappointed.

  • Brittany W.

I will never return to this place!!! based on the good reviews I expected delicious food but I received mediocre food with a side of horrible service. The waitress acted as if she was never trained to do her job, returning to our table a total of 6 times just to remember drinks of what we ordered. I would have done better going to a convenience store and picking up a hot dog. Do yourself and your wallet a favor and pass this place up when looking for a place to dine.

Everything is homemade and fresh to order. The fence toast is as thick as Texas toast! The breakfast burrito us as big as your face and don't forget the pumpkin pie cake slice. Heavenly!!!!!! The greatest part is the staff. Beyond friendly and personal. Love fatty pattys!!

Great breakfast lunch and bakery. They have maxing French toast and their potatoes are delicious. Everything is big! They're also a bakery. They have delectable treats sprinkled throughout their restaurant which makes me feel warm and fuzzy inside. I had them make our wedding cake which came out amazing. They are awesome.

The biggest and best sandwiches you will ever have. Get the traditional club, you will take half of it with you it is do big. Service could be a little better but they are always very busy. Of you are in the area you gotta stop here.

The bread was rock hard for the bland burger. The bacon was horrible. I have never had such a stale pastry. The French Toast was burnt and crunchy. The service was very bad. If someone cannot remember what you order, they need to write it down. Asked for a substitution the waitress said was available, then she came back to tell us that is was not actually an option, apparently without checking with the kitchen. The chef was able to make the substitution, but by that point it was already a terrible experience.

We were driving through Panama City to do a Pirate cruise and passed Fatty Patty's. The kids thought the name was funny so we decided that was where we would have lunch/brunch. The staff was wonderful. Within 15 mins we were seated, ordered and had our food! The kids French toast was great as was my cafe breakfast. The toast was so good we ordered an additional side order. We do not vacation in Panama City but if I come through again I will definitely stop and have brunch again!

Went today and we loved it! The Crab cake Benedict was delicious and the crab cake itself was full of crab not breading. The service was as nice as anywhere you can find in pcb. We are taking the family when they get in town this weekend. Great job Fatty Patty's!

Went here today for the first time for breakfast. I ordered the cinnamon roll French toast with scrambled eggs and bacon and a 1/2 order of biscuits and gravy. Ummm wow! The French toast was probably the best I ever had, though I never really picked up on why it was "cinnamon roll" French toast. Didn't matter though, because it was so freaking good. The bacon that came with it was the real deal. Three large, very thick cut slices. I should not have ordered the biscuits and gravy simply because there was more than enough food. However, I did eat some of it and the half order was gigantic and perfectly delicious. Our server was very nice and let us linger for about three hours as we were meeting friends from out of town. By the time we left, lunch orders were rolling out and they looked just as good if not better than what we had for lunch. I will be bringing my parents by soon!

I had my daughter's first birthday cake done by Fatty Patty's and it was AMAZING!!! I ordered long distance since we live in Franklin, TN and were just visiting for the week in Carillon Beach. They made the cake exactly what I wanted based on a picture that I emailed them and added a crush cake for free! The almond flavor cake was absolutely delicious - and I am a huge cake snob. I shopped around at several local bakeries, including PUBLIX and Fatty Patty's had the best cakes, and the best prices - by far! I am a very very happy mama! I am posting a pic which is the ombre aqua two-tiered ruffle cake. Sooo adorable!!

We visited Fatty Patty's for breakfast on our last leg of our vacation across the country. What a great way to end our vacation...with a delicious breakfast! The home fries were delicious! The bacon was perfectly crisp! The biscuit was grilled to perfection and the cinnamon roll French toast was pretty good too (although some cream cheese icing on top would've pushed them over the top!!!) Our server was super friendly. We are full and happy...and will definitely come back next time we are in town.

Went for the daily lunch special. 40 minutes after placing our order for SANDWICHES we were still waiting on food. Then the order was wrong. Food wasn't all that either. Poor service and ok food. There are better choices. If I wanted the above I could hit the fast food drive thru and not wait 40 minutes.

Fairly standard breakfast place. I missed the special part. I had a cinnamon roll and coffee which was served on a plate that was too small. Waitress was busy but I was sitting at the counter. Much better options on Thomas Dr

We loved this place! I found it here on Yelp. It was kind of a drive from my hotel, but it was well worth it. The servers were great and the food was top notch! We came back for our last 2 mornings for breakfast. My daughter ordered the biscuit and gravy- the server asked her if she wanted the half order, my daughter was pretty hungry so she decided to go with the full. Well, there was a reason they asked if she wanted half- it was huge!!! And it was only $3.50. The next morning, I got biscuit and gravy- I went with half. It was great! We also tried the breakfast burrito. It was as you might guess, huge too. I couldn't finish it. When we come back to PCB- will absolutely be coming back to Fatty Patty's!!!!

Delicious! Breakfast burrito was big, tasty, and inexpensive. Cinnamon rolls and cinnamon roll French toast are definitely recommended! Be patient tho, kitchen and service are slow because they're so busy, but definitely worth the wait.

Then Renee, the owner, came to our table with cake samples that were delicious. Food portions were huge and so reasonably priced. We left with a whole blueberry pie that was just out of the oven. Yep six people from St. Louis,MO will be singing the praises of Fatty Patty's. Maria E

Best Breakfast in Panama City Beach!!! Crisp bacon, freshly made real home fries, loaded sausage gravy and a crunchy freshly grilled home made biscuit. Service friendly and efficient. Can't wait to go back.

Great locally owned and operated restaurant. They only serve breakfast and lunch. Try the breakfast burger if you eat low carb! The staff will tailor your order to meet your dietary needs. But for those that are not as strict about their diet, the specialty cakes and pies that they make in their bakery are excellent. I recommend the hummingbird cake!

Fatty Patty's is much better than close neighbor The Egg and I. Biscuits are homemade and are awesome!!! I have been here many times and it never disappoints me! The breakfast burrito is one of my favorites as well as the chicken fried chicken! If your in the area give it a try!

This has become one of my favorite breakfast and lunch places on the west side of the bridge. The chicken & waffles are excellent. The Cuban and tuna melts are the best I've ever had. Daily specials rotate and have been good too. I've had great service most of the time, Justin is excellent.

This is the kind of place you find by mistake (like I did) but once you try it you'll love it. Good ole country breakfast with a little twist. When I tried the cinnamon roll french toast I thought I was doing alright then I tried the "Omelets Your Way" (build your own Omelet ) I was hooked!!! This place is awesome.

This place is an absolute must for breakfast in Panama City. There will be no need to eat again for the rest if the day! The staff are the nicest people you will find. They put the chain places to shame. Just throw a dart at the breakfast menu becuase its ALL excellent.

We've been back to this restaurant numerous times while we've been here - sure hate to leave for northern climes in a few days - and we have to say that we've never had a bad bite to eat here! And we've discovered that they have the absolute best BLT that my wife has ever tasted! On toasted whole-wheat bread, hold the avocado (for her anyway), curly lettuce, thick cut bacon and juicy tomato, no crumb remains uneaten! The best! Once she had that, she's never ordered anything else! Delicious! The service is always amazing - we've had some great chuckles with the staff and will miss this place a lot. We would highly recommend Fatty Patty's to our snowbird friends - talk about hospitality! A1 in our books! We'll be back next year for sure!

Pretty awesome place we were a little late for breakfast but lunch was not disappointing at all. I had the chicken tender basket which was very tasty the fries are fresh cut fries. My kids had burgers which were definitely hand made patties. Food was definitely look good around the restaurant 3.5 out of 5 stars I give this place a 5 star rating due to the superior service. Wait staff was amazingly friendly. Our severer so so friendly and I saw other tables with different servers being treated the same. All around southern style hospitality :)

Found Fatty Patty's on Yelp and LOVED it. Went there four times during our week-long vacation. Everything was great -- amazing French toast and crispy bacon, gravy and biscuits, egg sandwiches, etc. Staff was very friendly and welcoming and the prices were great. Food was just like my Mama used to make. A real find and soooo delicious! You won't be disappointed!

Really great chicken and waffles. I also tried the cinnamon roll french toast, which was fantastic as well. A great breakfast spot.
